When you work with The Bowling Law Firm on your pharmacy error, medical malpractice or personal injury case, you may get to know Jenny Head, a paralegal who drafts important documents, schedules key meetings and steps—and keeps you informed.
Jenny helps the attorneys at Bowling build the strongest possible case for you. She’s there to make sure no details get missed, and to advocate for your needs.
“Many of our clients have been through incredibly difficult, often life-altering experiences due to medical negligence—yet they come to us with strength, courage, and a deep desire to make things right, not just for themselves but to prevent others from going through the same pain,” Jenny says.
“Hearing their stories reminds me daily why this work matters. Their resilience, determination, and hope in the face of adversity are truly moving, and it motivates me to give my absolute best to support them through every step of the legal process.”
Before she became a paralegal, Jenny worked in public policy, politics and advocacy. She saw how the law impacts people’s lives in real ways and wanted to do more to help individuals directly.
She was drawn to The Bowling Law Firm in 2023 because of its reputation for integrity and commitment to its clients.
Jenny received her bachelor’s degree from Tulane University with a double major in international relations and social policy and a minor in economics. She plans to continue her education and become an attorney.
Lauren Jones is a certified paralegal at The Bowling Law Firm with over 10 years of experience helping people with their medication error, medical negligence and major injury cases.
You may meet Lauren as she gathers medical evidence for you, prepares documents, and keeps you updated on the progress of your case.
When it’s time to take a case to trial, she supports the Bowling injury and medical malpractice lawyers as they prepare.
Lauren previously worked at another law firm in accounting but was soon drawn to the legal work itself. She wanted to directly help people solve problems, secure fair settlements for their injuries, and stabilize their lives after setbacks.
She arrived at The Bowling Law Firm in 2015 and since then has been able to help hundreds of people in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Gulfport and across Louisiana and Mississippi.
She’s passionate about helping people who’ve suffered because of careless errors by pharmacies giving them wrong prescriptions, and she has written for the Bowling website about how stressful work environments at pharmacies can lead to mistakes and problems with understaffing at pharmacies.
Lauren holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Mississippi and is a certified paralegal.
With 20 years of experience in legal work, Kimberly Winters, who has a paralegal certificate and is the office manager at The Bowling Law Firm, mentors the firm’s paralegals and oversees the firm’s operations so that every case gets careful attention.
She has worked on thousands of pharmacy error, medical malpractice and injury cases. On your behalf, she navigates the intersection of legal and medical issues, manages medical records and expert testimony, and handles the many details that every case requires.
If you call The Bowling Law Firm for legal help after an injury or illness caused by someone’s negligence, Kimberly could be the one who guides your case through the process as the Bowling attorneys fight for you to receive the compensation that you’re due.
Kimberly has seen in her own family the devastating effects of a medical error and the struggle to secure the resources to move forward. That experience drives her to help others after a life-altering injury or a deep breach of trust in the medical system.
“Our clients come to us with the need for answers and accountability,” she says. “They’re not just seeking compensation; they want justice. They want someone to listen, to validate their experience, and to fight for them when they feel powerless.”
“What inspires me most is their courage. Even in the face of overwhelming circumstances, they choose to speak up and pursue a legal path that can be long and emotionally difficult. It’s an honor to help guide them through that process, to be part of a team that brings both compassion and clarity to their case. Knowing that our work can bring some measure of closure or prevent the same harm from happening to someone else is what keeps me committed every day.”
Kimberly received her paralegal certificate from the University of New Orleans. She joined The Bowling Law Firm in 2014, drawn by firm’s reputation as a leader in medical malpractice law and a fierce advocate for its clients.
