About Katherine E. Sepcich

Katherine “Katie” Sepcich is an attorney primarily handling pharmacy error, personal injury and medical malpractice cases from the New Orleans office of the Bowling Christiansen Law Firm.

She is admitted to the Louisiana Bar Association and licensed in all federal courts in Louisiana as well as the United States Fifth Circuit.

Before joining the law firm in January 2023, Katie served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Donald “Chick” L. Foret in the 24th Judicial District Court of Jefferson Parish. She also previously served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Fredericka H. Wicker at the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal.

She received her law degree from Loyola University College of Law in New Orleans, where she specialized in civil law while also receiving a certificate in common law.

At Loyola, Katie was a Dean’s Scholarship recipient. She was a member of Moot Court, winning Loyola’s 2019 Best Brief Award. Katie was also a member of Loyola’s Trial Advocacy Program, winning Best Opening Statement of the 2019 Trial Advocacy Intramural Competition.

Before attending Loyola, she worked in a corporate legal role in Austin, Texas. Katie is also a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Global Studies with a minor in European Studies.
